My name is Dr. Joanne Baker and I am the founder and co-creator of both USDocSearch.com and USSchoolSearch.com. I am a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Boston University Dental School where I earned my DMD. My two passions in life are art and navigating the internet. Both hobbies have allowed me to develop a taste for aesthetically pleasing yet simple to use internet resources. As such, I am uniquely qualified to design and bring to you a superb website which caters to the general public.

For my fellow creators and I this has been purely a labor of love. Frequently I am asked if there is any financial incentive to my sites. I reply that so far I have gained only knowledge of how to develop a successful website. I am pleased to announce that over 30,000 visitors have come to USDocSearch.com since the launch in January of 2004. That number keeps getting higher every day. It's my hope that this website attains the same success. I have made no money from either the development or the sales of any products off these sites.

In the beginning I had a vision of all my US Sites to be different than anything else on the internet; This has indeed been a daunting task. . The important key word here is SIMPLE. I like simple and I think that everyone else likes things easy and simple. I have made the font large. I have not crowded the page with too much information. I have made the pictures large and easy to see. I despise the sites that are either so difficult to see or hard to use that it makes the user disgusted. My motto is "K.I.S.S," which stands for Keep It Simple Stupid. I hope that I have achieved my goal.

My heartfelt thanks go out to my co-creator Mr. Puneet Belani. Puneet has done much of the grunt work for these sites. He is the point man and enters the often-tedious data, which go into the search factoid tables, bringing you the useful information you will find on my websites. I do not think that USSchoolSearch and USDocSearch could have become viable sites without his continuous help, guidance and his belief in my vision from the very beginning. For this I thank him.
